Sköll is a new pet food store dedicated to providing premium, wholesome nutrition for your legendary companions. Sköll offers a curated selection of carefully sourced products with natural ingredients tailored to meet the specific dietary needs of dogs, cats, and small pets. With a commitment to sustainability, Sköll also partners with local suppliers and supports eco-friendly packaging practices.
For this project I created the branding. I took my inspiration from the myth of Sköll and ancient Nordic culture, drawing inspiration from pagan imagery, sun-as star symbology, and packaging made of natural materials to include the eco-concious aspect of the brand.

Logo
The logo represents a core idea of the brand: legendary companions.
The sun-as-star shape also references a compass, a nod to the Vikings that likely used the sun as a compass to navigate their ships. The canine figure in the center refers to the legendary wolf Sköll from whom the brand gets its name.
Colour Palette
Nordic Blue was chosen as the brand’s core colour in reference to the naval tradition of sea-faring Norsemen in the Viking era.
Paper Bag is a secondary colour that can be used in marketing assets to complement the darker tone of Nordic Blue. It’s based on the natural paper bags that are used in Sköll’s product line.
